Farmers Market

Founded in 1975, the Market is a member-owned non-profit cooperative providing residents and visitors the best in local agricultural products, baking, prepared foods and crafts. In 2007, the cooperative moved to its year-round location at River Landing development.

Broadway Theatre Saskatoon

Saskatchewan singer-songwriter-pianist Jeffery Straker performs over 100 shows per year, has recorded for CBC’s ‘Canada Live’ and has toured internationally as far as Peru, Chile and Mexico. His tour stops span the range from intimate house concerts to recent sold-out shows with Canadian symphony orchestras including a sold-out TCU Place with the Saskatoon Symphony in 2013.

Forestry Farm

It all began with a tree nursery. Millions of saplings and a hundred years later, the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo remains a cornerstone of ecology, inspired learning and lasting memories in the Prairies. Today, this National Historic Site boasts carefully crafted gardens, restored heritage buildings, a great new naturally-themed playground and Saskatchewan’s only CAZA-AZAC accredited zoo. 

Meewasin Trail/River Landing

U of S Biology Building (Natural Science Museum)

The Right Honourable John G. Diefenbaker Centre for the Study of Canada, popularly known as the Diefenbaker Canada Centre, is a prime ministerial museum and archives honouring Canada's 13th prime minister, the Rt. Hon. John G. Diefenbaker.

Wanuskewin Heritage Park

The Great Hall and Small Gallery seasonally exhibit Aboriginal artwork from paintings, sculpture, contemporary multi-media work to touching and inspiring ceremonial pieces. The art tells a collaborative story about First Nations history, tradition, current perspective and worldview within a variety of different mediums. Wanuskewin endeavors to showcase a dynamic collection of contemporary and traditional First Nations and Métis artists.

Western Development Museum

The Western Development Museum provincial headquarters is housed in the Curatorial Centre in Saskatoon. The four WDM exhibit locations provide a grand total of 307,100 square feet of covered area - 262,875 square feet for exhibit/programs and 44,225 square feet of office and storage space. Total land area is 165 acres, slightly larger than the original prairie farm unit of a quarter section (160 acres).
